Women at the intersection of mathematics and theoretical physics
or
Women in solidarity, without boundaries or borders
(as renamed by Fay Dowker)
Over the past years, together with a group of female mathematicians and
theoretical physicists,
we have been organizing a series of international meetings
"Women at the intersection of mathematics and theoretical physics"
- 06-10 March 2017 at the MITP in Mainz
- 09-12 April 2018 at DESY in Hamburg
- 18-20 February 2019 at Villa Batelle, Geneva
- 10-13 November 2020 (online) at the Perimeter Institute, Waterloo, Canada
- 20-24 March 2023 at OIST, Okinawa, Japan
- 29 December-2 January at ICTS, Bengalore, India
These meetings are aimed at identifying new trends of research at the
frontier between mathematics, quantum field theory and string theory and
exploring how they intertwine, as well as to encourage young women doing
research in those topics.
